When I went to Cancun back in December, I picked up these gorgeous perfumes from the Victoria's Secret store.  Unfortunately, the store was rubbish because it only sold beauty products and had only a small selection of underwear (no bras!)... I was planning on buying some clothing from the PINK range and some nice underwear sets but obviously couldn't so I ended up just getting these girly goodies...
First up we have the infamous Bombshell perfume which is probably Victoria's Secret most popular scent, it's extremely popular in the blogging world with so many reviews (positive of course), I was meant to pick this up when I was in Las Vegas back in 2013 but had my eye on other things in the store so Bombshell had to wait.  Once I was home from Vegas I kept seeing raves about this perfume and was totally kicking myself in the teeth for not buying it so as soon as I had another chance, I bought it without hesitation.
It's fruity and floral with notes of purple passion fruit, peony and vanilla orchid.  Perfect for during the day as it's really fresh, clean and feminine.  I highly recommend this perfume for any girly girl who loves floral, fresh scents...if you're after one from Victoria's Secret then totally give this a try!  I can definitely see why it's so popular.
Lately I've been obsessed with buying the matching body lotion whenever I buy a new perfume because I find it makes the scent smell much stronger and last for hours on end without having to spray more throughout the day.  I popped the matching Bombshell body lotion into my basket to go perfectly with my new perfume and it smells exactly like the fragrance.
This body lotion is totally moisturising and helps the scent of the perfume last all day without any need for a re-spray and I like the pump bottle to avoid spillage.  Even though the perfume is an Eau De Parfum, this lotion really boosts the smell and avoids wasting perfume so in the long run it will last longer.
Next up we have Fearless which is one of Victoria's Secret newest perfumes, the retail assistant explained to me how you get a free tote bag if you purchase the full size perfume or gift set.  I gave it a sniff and was sold, it totally reminds me of Lancome Hypnose, a very sexy musky scent which I love.  I opted for the gift set because it already included the body lotion which I'd of ended up buying anyway and you also get the matching shower gel and a travel sized version of the perfume (handy to throw in your clutch bag for the evening).
I must admit the perfume bottle looks abit cheap and tacky but the smell makes up for the tacky packaging design.  I do honestly adore this smell, it's perfect for both day and evening... it's described on the website as a floral perfume with hints of black current and iris.
Here's the free tote I got with Fearless, they had about 4 different options but I chose the black because it will go well with any outfit and I love the studded crystal design.  The black is also less likely to get dirty and the bag itself is huge so it can fit plenty of things in, it's even handy for a weekend away bag or beach bag.

What's your favourite Victoria's Secret perfume?

I purchased these lashes from Eldora last year after seeing loads of amazing makeup artists use them and bloggers mentioning them in blogs and on Instagram.  I randomly found them on Ebay for really cheap so thought why not? ... These were the only two styles available so I got one of each.
B168 - These are quite dramatic and the band is very thick so I do kinda struggle to apply these, I prefer lashes with a thin band as they go on easier and quicker.  Other than the band being too thick, the style is gorgeous.  I've worn them once and they are still in tip top condition... you can probably get away with reusing these about 15-20 times.
H150 - These ones are less dramatic and the band is much thinner, these are my faves out of the two and they can be used for the day time to give a soft 'doll eyed' look.  I love the lengths vary to give a flirty feel, these can also be reused plenty of times if looked after correctly.

I really want to try more lashes from Eldora, they're really good quality lashes, the packaging is vibrant and they're great value for money.  I'm dying to try some of their 'multi-layered' lashes... I'll have to make a purchase very soon!

You can buy Eldora lashes from their official website here... prices vary and a pro discount is available for makeup artists.

Total Rounds:  I did 10 rounds x2 plus Bodypump at the gym one night and a PT session another.
Weight:  gained 1lb
ARMS no loss
THIGHS no loss
BUST 1 inch
WAIST 0.5 inch

HIPS no loss
Total = 1.5 inches

My diet this week was good until the weekend came...I can eat really clean for breakfast and lunch but when it comes to finishing work I want something quick and crave carbs, this is gunna have to stop!  In total I've lost 9.5 inches doing this DVD for 4 weeks (with one rest week in between due to being run down with the flu) I don't feel any different but my belly is less bloated which is a huge plus.  I think I'll do another round of 4 weeks of this DVD but make sure I stick to a healthy eating plan to see better results and use the hand weights every week rather than just half way through.
I highly recommend this DVD, the title is very misleading and it's certainly not a 3 minute workout... it's very high intensity interval style training and will deffo make you sweat like a b*tch!

I absolutely adore this perfume by Chloe... it's so feminine and has a floral twist.  I got Chloe Love Story as a gift for Valentines Day from my boyfriend back in February and have been using it nearly everyday, especially during the daytime.

The scent is clean and fresh, made from neroli, orange blossom and stephanotis (jasmine from madagascar).  It's perfect for the daytime as it's not too in your face but still lingers for hours.  I've been using it quite a lot and I think the bottle is gorgeous, I love how it's quite minimalistic with very little detail but still looks pretty on my dresser.  It also has a ribbon on which makes it look extra girly... this 50ml size will last me ages so I'm really pleased he picked this size as I find 30ml only lasting a few months so it's best to pay a little bit extra for a bigger size in my opinion.
Have you tried this?

You can purchase Chloe Love Story from Boots here 50ml is £65.00

If you know me well, you'll know that I'm always on the hunt for some new skincare as I really struggle to keep my skin clear and even, I love trying new cleansers and after hearing some good reviews on this Ultrabland cleanser from Lush, I ended up buying it to see how it compared to my other cleansers.

Yes it does remove makeup perfectly fine, however I've noticed it leaves my skin clean but leaves behind the odd few blackheads after every use.  No matter how many times I rinse and remove the residue with a muslin cloth, there's always black heads appearing after a couple of hours.

I certainly won't be repurchasing this but I'll keep using it until it's empty as I do find it removes makeup very well and effortlessly it's just a bit crappy that it's leaving me with blackheads.  Such a big shame as I really do enjoy using Lush products but never mind ey!  Think I may try some Elemis goodies next time....

I didn't complete week 3 until a week later as I was run down with the flu and was stuck in bed for 4 days of week 3.  I could barely eat and was so fragile, there was no way I could of completed any form of exercise so I made sure to be sensible and get plenty of rest so I could recover.  I will be starting Personal Training this week so week 4 will probably be a big loss of inches which I'm looking forward to.
Total Rounds:  I managed to do 9 rounds x4.
Weight:  lost 3.5lbs
ARMS 0.5 inch
THIGHS  no loss
BUST no loss
WAIST 0.5 inch

HIPS 1 inch
Total = 2 inches

I think my loss of 3.5lbs is due to being poorly the week before as I didn't eat too much, but I'm happy with my loss of 2 inches especially on my hips.  I purchased some walking weights from Primark the other week which are 1lb each and cost £2.50 per weight.  £5.00 for a set is fab considering the PowerGloves that Charlotte uses are around £18.00 on Amazon.  I used the weights for every session in week 3 and could feel my arms aching the next day after each session.  Like I mentioned above, I'll be starting personal training this week (tomorrow) starting off with 1 session per week and working up to 2 so hopefully get to my goal before the warmer season kicks in.

I can't seem to put my finger on it but there's something really likeable about this new L'Oreal Infallible 24H-Matte foundation.  I picked it up a few weeks ago and have been using it when I've had my fake tan on, I picked the shade '20 Sand' which looked like one of the only shades that didn't have too much of a pink undertone.

This foundation gives a matte finish that apparently lasts up to 24 hours, I can't really say that this claim is true as I always remove my makeup after 8-10 hours but I'm really impressed by it's staying power and how well it covers.  My makeup still looks pretty fresh 8-10 hours later exactly just how I applied it on the morning so it's definitely a big thumbs up in regards to coverage and staying power.
It's also waterproof and steam-proof with no cakey effect.  I usually apply one layer but if I'm having a bad skin day then I'll apply two layers for extra coverage and it still looks fresh without being too much, I really hate the cakey skin look so this is great because it offers the full coverage but ensures my skin still looks like skin.

I quite like the plastic tube packaging as you can simply squeeze out as much or as little as you want without wastage.  You also get 35ml worth of product so it's bound to last quite a while... this will probably last me around 9 months to a year as I tend to mix up my foundation routine and use different products for different occasions.

The only thing I'm not fussed on is the shade range, the shade I picked looked like the closest match to my fake tanned skin and it does match fine but I can still see a slight underdone of pink which I don't think suits many people.  If it was more yellow then it would be perfect... there's also a very limited shade selection which is quite rubbish for such a big brand.  Other than that, I think this foundation is excellent and is certainly one to try out for those of you who have oily skin and love a super matte finish.

Currently on offer for £6.99 in Boots...bargain!

Total Rounds:  I completed 6 rounds x3 days and also went to Bootcamp on the Tuesday.
Weight:  stayed the same
ARMS no loss
THIGHS + 0.5 inch
BUST  no loss
WAIST 0.5 inch

HIPS 1 inch
Total loss of inches = 2 inches

I struggled this week but only because my diet was quite rubbish... I had two takeaways in week two (Chinese and pizza) and went to Newcastle for the day shopping which ended up going somewhere nice for lunch then scoffing a big baguette on the train ride home.
Obviously I didn't lose any weight but I didn't gain either... but then again I never really go by the scales it's always measurements for me!
Next week I'll be doing more rounds, add the hand weights and improve my diet to hopefully see a big change.

I've had my eye on Motives makeup for a few months now, it's really popular on Instagram and lot's of makeup artists use the brand.  I remember Mario Dedivanovic (Kim K's makeup artist) using Motives products on one of his Youtube Tutorials and I fell in love with the look he did.
A few weeks back, I was contacted by Motives trainer Andreea and she wanted to send me a product to try out and let her know my thoughts.  Of course I jumped at the chance and told her I would love to try something from the Motives line,  we had a little chat and she told me she'd be sending me the Motives Mavens Sculpt Series Palette in the shade 'Fire'.  It arrived the next working day and I couldn't wait to give it a try...

The palette has four cream shades which blend like a dream, you get two highlight/concealer shades and two contour shades.
The packaging is very similar to NARS with the rubber texture which collects dirt very easily but I like how it has 'grip' so it doesn't slide about everywhere.
You also get a small brush which is quite fluffy, most brushes you get in kits are very stiff and crap quality which always end up in the bin but I was surprised to see how well this one worked with the creams and it was certainly staying clear from the bin!

The Motives website describes this palette as:

"A perfecting palette that includes everything you need for a flawless, radiant complexion with a no-makeup look and feel. Perfect for concealing, highlighting and contouring the face. Created by our very own Motives Mavens this palette is perfect for all your foundation needs."
For the highlight/concealer shades on the left you get a yellow and a pink shade, the yellow is perfect for full on highlight and will suit most skin tones (think Ben Nye's Banana) and the pink shade is perfect for concealing any blue/dark areas under the eyes.  The contouring shades on the right are more on the warm side, I do prefer cool toned shades for contouring as it gives the most natural effect but these are still great colours and don't give off an orange appearance like most warmer shades seem to do.
Here I used a mix of both contour shades and applied where I wanted my face to appear 'slimmer.'
I then added the yellow highlight shade to highlight the areas I wanted to have more focus.
I blended slightly with the brush that came with the palette then used a damp Beauty Blender.
You can see the definition on my face now, I love the yellow concealer as it really brightens my skin without looking too drag.

Would I purchase this palette myself?  HELL YES!!!  I'm extremely pleased with how well this contours and highlights, I've used other contour palettes in the past and none of them compare to this.   It's really easy to use so it's perfect for beginners as well as professionals and my favourite shades are the yellow highlight and the darker contour shade.
The packaging is very compact and easy to travel with and if you're a makeup artist like me it's so handy to have in your kit.  I've used this on two of my makeup clients who wanted the contour effect and they both loved the finished look.
After using this product I definitely want to try more from Motives as I can imagine the whole product line being excellent... I have my eye on some of the lip products so will have to invest sometime soon!

The palette is £28.75 which is very reasonable for something that will last you a long time and can be used in different ways.  To purchase one for yourself shop here and enter the code 10OFFMA to get 10% discount off all Motives products.
