ARDELL BROW&LASH GROWTH ACCELERATOR

I was recommended this product by a friend of mine, she told me to look for it on ebay as it's really affordable and I found it for just £4.75 from this seller here.
After hearing from my friend how good it was and after reading so many positive reviews on various websites and blogs, I decided to click the 'buy now' button and treat myself.

Now I wasn't expecting to get some big bushy brows and long luscious lashes from using this but it certainly has helped promote the growth and gave me thicker brows as you can see in the pictures below...

BEFORE

AFTER THREE WEEKS
The 'before' photo was taken just before using the Ardell Accelerator and the two 'after' pics were taken on my phone three weeks later, showing how much thicker and shapely they have become.  I did wax them the day before just to get rid of the stray hairs and add more definition... I have also been using it on my lashes and they seem more 'full' but I never took any before photos to show the difference.

Overall, I'm really pleased with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking to grow out their brows... why spend a fortune on brow/lash growth treatments when you can get this for under a fiver?!  I apply this during the day when I have nowhere to go and sometimes overnight and wash it off the next morning.  It does become a little bit 'stiff' and drying but it certainly worked well for me :)

FAKE TAN ROUTINE: COCOA BROWN

"Life is so much better with a tan" is one of my fave quotes... There's nothing worse than when you feel disgustingly pale and look as if you've just awoken from the dead.  As a naturally pale skinned gal, I feel so much better when I have a tan, I just feel like I look more healthy and my makeup looks nicer.  Now I'm not saying I have anything against being pale but it's just not for me... I used to worship the sunbeds (bad I know!) but stopped using them in November last year and forced myself to stick to fake tan to be more safe and protect my skin from looking like a fake Louis Vuitton handbag by the time I hit 30.  I was extremely pleased when I got the chance to try out a new tanning range last year known as Cocoa Brown and ever since trying out these products, I have never looked back!  Trust me, I've tried very expensive brands and this is the only brand I'll now buy...
See my first review of the 1 Hour Tan and Tough Stuff Scrub here

Fast forward 6 months and this is certainly my 'go to' tanning brand (better than more expensive brands like Fake Bake, St Tropez etc).  I ended up using up the products that the lovely people from Cocoa Brown kindly sent me so rushed out to my nearest Superdrug store and purchased them myself.  I quickly grabbed these three items and put them in my basket, the 1 Hour Tan which is a mousse tanning product it gives you the option of leaving it on for 1, 2 or 3 hours (3 hours giving you a deeper, darker tan) which is brilliant for those who have a busy lifestyle and don't have time to faff on waiting 6-8 hours for a tan to fully develop.  The Tough Stuff Scrub is honestly one of the best scrubs I have ever used, it's perfect because it just scrubs all the crap of your skin without feeling too harshly abrasive. It smells of melon mmmm! the colour is a gorgeous pink shade and I always feel like I'm giving myself a luxurious pamper when using it all over my body.

As for the Chocolate Whip Oil-Free Body Moisturiser I posted a mini review about it here... It's fab at keeping your tan looking tip-top and helps it fade evenly (no scaley looking skin here girls!) the smell is just divine and I'm nearly on my third tube of this stuff so I'll be repurchasing another very soon.

You can see here my arm in the natural light then at the bottom with flash.  It's a nice golden brown and doesn't look nasty on the fingers/knuckles like most tanning products do.  I left the tan on for over 3 hours to get maximum tanning results then rinsed it off in the shower, leaving me with this gorgeous golden glow as if I'd just been on an exotic holiday for two weeks.

Another thing I love about this brand is that it's not expensive at all... it's very affordable and the quality is amazing.  I'm a big fan of cheep and cheerful items that do what they say on the tin and these products do just that.  The tan, scrub and moisturiser are all £7.99 available to buy in Superdrug stores.

Check out the new products that Cocoa Brown have just released... I love how the brand is expanding and look forward to trying these new babies out :)
