Everytime I make a trip to TKMAXX, I always rush over to the beauty area to see what bargains I can find.  On my last trip, I picked up these goodies and I must say... I'm really pleased with all of them.
First up we have this lash and brow serum from Measurable Difference and it was £3.99 but then I checked online and retails at round £18.00-£20.00.  I've been using it ever since I purchased it and I must say that I'm really impressed... review coming soon!

I couldn't resist picking up this stunningly sparkly nail polish from Nails Inc. in the shade 'Park Lane' and even better I got it for £4.99.

Lancaster are a very well known skincare brand for their tan enhancers and I spotted this new product, it was £7.99 but I checked online as soon as I got home and places like Selfridges are selling it for £20.00 so I definitely got a great bargain here!

Then lastly I picked up these Ardell lashes for £2.99 each... 117's which look lovely and natural and then the demi-wispies which I've used before and loved.  These retail for over £5.00 in Boots.

I love a bargain!

Here's what I recently purchased from River Island on two separate shopping trips... River Island is one of my favourite stores as everything is so funky and on trend, check out what I bought below...
I found these platform wedges in the sale from £55.00 to £35.00 and thought that they'd be really nice for dressy/casual occasions and also perfect for my jollys to Mexico in December.  They are pretty high but because of the huge platform they feel sooo comfy, they're easy to walk in and I love the metallic gold on the wedge.  You can buy them from the River Island website here
Next up is this gorgeous neon pink dress... I tried it on in store and loved the material and how the colour made my tan stand out.  It's very stretchy fabric but clings to your body in a very flattering way.  I'll be saving this for Mexico as it's just one of those outfits which would look perfect on holiday for a night out.  Find it here for £50.00
This dress is also similar fabric to the previous one, it clings to the body in a flattering way and the colour is a neon coral which looks amazing with a tan!  The spaghetti straps are a lovely touch and I'll be wearing this for an up coming wedding as it's so classy yet fashionable at the same time without being too over the top.  It's available to buy here for £35.00 which I think is a total bargain.
...and finally, I found this gorgeous bikini in the sale felt so lucky that my size was left as most of the sale bikinis we're larger sizes.  The bottoms were £7.00 and the top was £10.00.  I think the colour is stunning and I can't wait to wear this in Mexico!  I tried to look for it online but they have sold out, they may have some left in your local River Island store so go and check it out...

Have you bought anything from River Island recently?

My recent trip to Boots resulted in purchasing these goodies... I only went in for deodorant, hair dye and tweezers but couldn't resist the £1.00 offer on the Cuticura hand gel (which smells divine by the way!) and then I spotted the Seventeen instant glow liquid and thought 'why not?' so put it in my basket.  I then remembered that I'd lost my nail polish remover somewhere in my bedroom (how is that even possible?) and found Boots own brand nail polish remover for just £1.00.
Before I knew it, my basket was getting more full by the minute so I quickly escorted myself to the tills to pay for the items before my basket ended up full to the brim...

So I bought my usual hair dye which I love the colour of and it was on offer for £4.00.  It's a mask and is really good because it's mess free and it conditions your hair nicely.  This colour is lovely as it really makes my blue eyes stand out and I prefer my hair to be a lighter brown rather than dark, especially in the summer season.

This deodorant is perfect, yes it may be expensive compared to other deodorants but it lasts pretty much all day without the need of a touch up.  It also smells very fresh and clean, leaving my arm pits totally dry without irritating them.  You can buy this from Boots and it's currently on offer here for just £4.30.

I love how these tweezers come with a little compact case to store them in so they don't go blunt and are also perfect for travelling. You can buy these tweezers here for just £12.50 which is a total bargain for a pair of Tweezermans as they really are the best on the market.

How gorgeous is this?! This glow liquid can be used to mix with your foundation, can be applied on the cheekbones for a bronze goddess finish or even put it on your body (legs, arms, chest)... You just pump out a couple of squirts and I can imagine this full tube lasting quite a while. You can buy it here for just £5.99!

How gorgeous are these girly pink shades from the brand MODELS OWN?  I put them in my basket recently whilst online shopping on the Superdrug website because they caught my eye instantly... they just scream summer!

The shade on the left is 'Pink Veneer' which is part of their HyperGel line and the shade on the right is from their new polish for tans collection in 'Sun Hat'.
The HyperGel range has mega-shine shades that are highly pigmented.  They're enriched with lotus flower oil and the gel-like finish gives the professional shine of a salon manicure without the hefty price tag.  The polish for tans collection is the first ever collection designed to enhance and compliment tanned skin, there are five shades to choose from to highlight golden skin from sunrise to sunset (sounds perfect!)
You can see from the swatch above just how shiny 'Pink Veneer' is and it's perfect for any occasion.  I'm saving 'Sun Hat' for my holidays as it's extremely bright and neon and would look gorgeous with a nice tan.

You can buy both of these from the official Models Own website... Pink Veneer and Sun Hat are £5.00 each.  Also check them when they're on offer in Boots or Superdrug.
