This lipstick is pretty much sold out every time I want to buy it but I FINALLY got my hands on it last week in my local Boots.  It's such a gorgeous milky nude which can be layered for a more opaque effect and to add a 'your lips but better' shade.  It looks darker in the tube than it does on the actual lips but I do love the colour once applied to the lips, the sheen is lovely too without being too glossy or in your face.
This is also one of those 'safe' lipsticks that you can throw into your handbag, apply without using a mirror and you know it will look gorgeous.  Perfect for dramatic eye looks or if you're going for the au natural look for the day-time.  You can see below just how lovely the shade is... I'd describe it as a milky nude with a hint of pink.  Now I want to try the rest of the collection!!!

Find it on Boots official website here for just £8.19

These false lashes from LaLa Lashes are perfect for that more natural look as they help finish off a more subtle smokey eye without being too dramatic or over the top.  They are very lightweight so they don't feel weighed down on your eyes like some of the bigger lashes can do... they are also perfect for those who are very makeup shy and want to still look made up but in a very natural way.

I just love how lightweight these feel and love that the band is very thin as it makes applying them much easier and fits the curve to your eye better than those that have a thicker band.  These aren't normally the type of lashes I would use personally as I love mine big and glamorous...but I wore them for during the day to test them out and they added some thickness so my normal lashes, not so much length as my natural lashes are already long but they still looked nice.  When I work on clients, I do get a fair few who have short lashes so these would look gorgeous on those with shorter lashes as it would make them look very natural but still pretty done up.

LaLa Lashes offer a wide range of lashes and can be purchased from here prices start from £7.10*

After searching high and low for the perfect bronzer to use on myself and clients that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (NARS bronzers I'm looking at you!)  I think I have finally found the one!  This bronzer by the one and only HD Brows is extremely pigmented, it has a slight shimmer but nothing thats too over the top... more like a shimmer that catches the light in a way that makes you look sun-kissed.

The blusher also by HD Brows is what I would call NARS orgasm blush's twin sister... it has that beautiful peachy pink colour with a hint of gold shimmer but nothing too shimmery.  This product is also extremely pigmented so you don't need a lot on your brush, it's perfect for adding light layers to build up the colour.

You can see in the swatches above just how pigmented these two gorgeous products are.  The packaging is totally sleek and I love how they both have mirrors inside each compact, perfect for on the go!
The only thing that I don't really like is the sponges you get with them, I just don't find them to be necessary at all... I don't know who would use sponges to apply blusher or bronzer but I can't exactly complain because the products themselves are amazing and HD Brows did so well with the pigmentation and adding mirrors in each compact.  I also love how it says the name of the product on the front (eg. blusher, bronzer) this is great for when you're rummaging about in your makeup bag and you can see the writing on the front telling you what the product is instead of opening it to find out.

The bronzer retails for £19.96* and can be purchased here
and the blusher retails for £17.95* and can be purchased here

The HD Brows powder brush is very well made, the bristles are lovely and soft and it picks up the right amount of product without having lots of fall out on the face.  It's great for blending the bronzer or blusher and can also be used to apply powder all over the face.

The powder brush retails for £15.95* and can be purchased here

I'm a fan of HD Brows and I've always had my brows done with this brand and I'm so glad I've had the chance to try out their products.  They are very impressive, I will certainly be adding some other products to my wishlist...

Have you tried any of the HD Brows products??

After an amazing experience with the Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan, I couldn't wait to get my hands on their body moisturiser also known as 'Chocolate Whip.'  I received this a couple of weeks ago in the post and applied it straight away, I firstly noticed how thick it was and the whiff of cocoa.  The scent is just right, it's not too sickly or in your face and I love how thick the consistency is as it feels like you're giving your skin plenty of moisture (perfect for the colder season).  I love using this to boost the colour of my fake tan and it helps the self tanner fade more evenly... I hate the scaley, patchy fake tan fade of some self tanners but this product really helps it stay in tip top condition.
Heres what it says on the Cocoa Brown official website:
"A first of its kind on the Irish market, CHOCOLATE WHIP Oil-Free Body Moisturiser is the latest innovative product from Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter.
Using CHOCOLATE WHIP as part of your tanning regime will ensure your Cocoa Brown tan fades slowly and evenly, exactly what Marissa knew her customers were looking for in a moisturiser!  Most body lotions currently on the market contain oil, which causes your tan to fade unevenly. Mousse based tans, like Cocoa Brown,  are usually water based and as we all remember from our science classes – oil and water just don’t mix!
The moisturiser is also highly nourishing to your skin and has benefits beyond that of maintaining the perfect Cocoa Browntan. CHOCOLATE WHIP contains panthenol, which is suitable for acne-prone skin as it moisturizes while leaving pores clean and clear. Forming a barrier on the skin’s surface, panthenol helps to protect against everyday environmental damage.  It also contains Vitamin E which helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks, age spots and also strengthens the skins barrier function.
Finally and most importantly, how does CHOCOLATE WHIP smell?! The sweet smelling lotion combines the signature Cocoa Brown Tahitian Gardenia scent with an injection of Cocoa- Making sure you smell so good that you should prepare to be sniffed!"

You can purchase this amazing product from Feel Unique for £7.99* along with the other products in the range.

Just some MAC goodies what I ordered for my kit...

- Pro palette large
- Two inserts for the palette
- MAC eyeshadow in 'red brick'
- MAC pigment in 'vanilla'
- I received two free samples which was nice of them considering I've never had samples even though I've spent thousands of pounds on MAC over the years.  They gave me 'zoom fast' mascara and 'prep & prime skin base visage'
I depotted all of my MAC shadows, now I need another palette!!!
I'm totally in love with Vanilla pigment... perfect for highlighting the brow bone, cheek bone, the bridge of the nose and tear duct area.

After seeing so many interesting products from the brand Rio Beauty over the years, I was excited when they kindly sent me this waxing kit and just couldn't wait to try it out.  I've only ever had my brows waxed so was keen to try waxing other parts of my body myself, this is a total body waxing kit so you're welcome to wax anywhere as it caters for all parts of the body.
You can see below what is included in the kit (comes with the heater too but forgot to add this in the picture!)  Basically, the 'hard wax' is used for more sensitive areas such as bikini and arm pit areas whilst the 'deluxe soft wax' is used for larger areas such as legs, arms and also perfect for brow waxing (my fave!)  The waxing strips are very soft and you get a huge bulk of them so they will last ages.
This is the soft wax heated up... this is my preferred wax out of the two options as I use it for my brows and will use it on clients when doing their brows.  I'm yet to try waxing my own legs but will do this in the summer when my legs will be due to be shown in public... using this on my brows is perfect though, it doesn't hurt at all and smooths onto the skin perfectly.
The hard wax I did have a go at but it's too painful for me.  I tried it on my bikini line and almost screamed!!!!  I then tried it on my arm pits and it was also very painful, I haven't touched it since.

Overall, I love the soft wax, the heater is perfect and very small too.  I will continue to use this handy little kit to wax my brows (saves a trip to the salon!) and will report back in the summer when it's time to wax the pins!  For the price you really can't go wrong, the full kit is only £39.99* and can be purchased from the Rio Beauty official website here.

If you do end up running out of any of the products provided in the kit, you can buy them separately on the website which is really handy.  They aren't even expensive so you can get smooth, hair-free skin in the comfort of your own home without having to fork out loads of money.

Have you tried waxing at home??
