For week 1 click here and to check out week 2 here

Day 1:  Level 3 is now here... which means that I have 1 more level to go after this and the challenge is complete!  Level 3 is obviously much harder than levels 1 and 2 but yet again I worked my butt off, sweat like crazy and made sure I pushed myself all the way through the workout.  I also done Bodypump today and can lift heavier weights, strong = sexy!

Day 2:  I used this as my rest day as I went to Newcastle Eldon Square shopping and didn't get home until late.

Day 3:  I didn't feel too motivated today so this was my second rest day... felt so bad for having two rest days together but will try my hardest tomorrow to do the advanced moves rather than stick with the beginner moves.

Day 4:  Today I bought some ankle/wrist weights from Tesco as they were on offer for £5.50 complete bargain... they are 1.5kg each and will be perfect for adding some extra weight to my workouts.  I'm going for a meal tonight (Italian so loads of carbs!) with my friends so I did my Jillian DVD level 3 and also 20 minutes on the treadmill with my new ankle/wrist weights on my ankles.  To finish off I did some ab work... I really pushed today!

Day 5:  OH MY!!! Can really feel pain in my legs and thighs today from those ankle weights, well worth it though!  Still carried on with my session with Jillian though but decided not to use the ankle weights today.

Day 6:  Almost done!  Another session with Jillian today and did some ab work and went on the treadmill for 20 mins doing a power walk.  I gave the ankle weights another miss today but will use them tomorrow.

Day 7:  The last day of level 3 is here :) feeling so good about myself...used the ankle weights today and managed to do ALL of the advanced moves.  READY FOR LEVEL 4!!!!

The past few years I've had my eye on the Benefit, Urban Decay and HD brow palettes but could never bring myself to buy any of them due to the extortionate prices.  I honestly refuse to pay more than £20.00 for a little kit that's basically matte eyeshadows, mini tools and a wax.  The brand found in Superdrug stores beautyuk have recently launched their very own brow kit and it costs only £3.99* which is an absolute bargain!

Firstly the packaging looks sleek and is very sturdy, it definitely won't crack open in your makeup bag thats for sure.  The kit includes three brow powders (can also be used as matte eyeshadows), a wax to keep brows in place, mini tweezers and a double sides brush to apply the product.  I'm extremely pleased with how well this little kit works, it's so handy and the shades are very pigmented as you can see below.  I use my Crown SS025 brow duo brush as it's my go-to brush but the mini one you get in this kit is perfect for on the go touch ups.  I'll probably end up going blonde soon as I get bored of my hair colour too easy so the lightest shade will be perfect if I do go lighter which means I won't need to go and buy a whole new product for my brows.  Right now I'm mixing the darkest and medium brown shades together, the wax is great for keeping those stray hairs in place and even the mini tweezers are decent quality.

You can buy the beautyuk high brow kit here for only £3.99.

I'm sure most of you in the blogging world or regular beauty blog readers will have heard of REN Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask as it's been raved about here there and everywhere this past year.  It's been on my beauty wishlist for the past three months so when I saw this cute little radiance set on for just £32.00 I couldn't resist adding it to my basket and splashing out on some high end skincare.  You get the full sized mask and sample sizes of three other REN products from the radiance range including a muslin cloth.

This product is the main reason I purchased this gift set and when I tried it for the first time I noticed it had quite an off-putting smell to it and felt like I was applying honey to my face.  However, I haven't let the smell or sticky residue put me off this little wonder product as it does amazing things for my skin (yey!)
You apply a decent layer all over your face (excluding eye area), leave it to set for 10 minutes then using a damp muslin cloth gently remove the mask using ciculuar motions.  After using this mask a few times - each time it has left my skin EXTREMELY soft and gave me a healthy glow to the skin without making my oily skin look..well... oily basically.
I will continue to use this mask as a weekly skin treat and can see this 50ML tube last me around 5-6 months so I've definitely got my moneys worth here.

Now I've only used this once but it felt really nice and the smell is a gorgeous citrus scent, it smells very fresh and uplifting.  This isn't a daily cleanser but is recommended to be used 2-3 times per week then to be followed by the Radiance Perfection Serum.  I'm not really looking for radiance but like I said the only reason this set was bought was because of the mask so these little samples are a bonus.  This polish cleanser gently exfoliates your skin whilst cleansing, it left my skin completely soft and felt clean for the rest of the day like I'd just had a facial in a spa.  From the samples in this set, this is the only product I would buy full sized as I like how it makes my skin feel.
This has only been tried once or twice and it's not something I'll buy full sized.  The smell is very citrusy and fresh which is nice, if you don't like strong scented skin products then I don't think you'll enjoy any of this range as the scent is very strong for each of these products... not sure how their other skin products smell though so you're best off trying them in store.  I'll probably end up giving this to my mother as she loves serums and trying new skincare brands.

You get two little sachets of this product to try and when I first tried it I was shocked at how watery it was!  It came shooting out but luckily I caught the liquid in my palm ready to apply to my skin and found that half of the sample was enough to apply to my full face and neck area.  Once rubbed in, it dried instantly and felt like I had nothing on... I left it on overnight as recommended and woke up to a very soft, smooth feeling face.  I won't be rushing out to buy this product full-size anytime soon as it's not really essential for me but I think it would be perfect for those who have a dull complexion and those with more mature skin.

You can buy this REN Radiance gift set for £32.00 from HQHAIR

I had heard from this brand nspa before from other bloggers and also seen it on the shelves in Asda whenever in the beauty isle but never actually tried any of the products.

Last week I recieved the Melting Cleansing Gel 50ml* which is a luxurious gel that turns into a cleansing milk, the packaging is very clean looking and shows the main information of the product on the front of the tube and the directions/ingredients on the back.  I've been using this everyday since it arrived and I'm very impressed!  You massage a small amount onto dry skin using circular motions from chin to forehead then you wet your hands with warm water and massage again to turn the gel to a soft cleansing milk, finally rinse it off with warm water and pat dry.  It's absolutly perfect for removing makeup at the end of the day and it totally reminds me of the very pricey Dermalogica Pre-cleanse which I used to swear by at removing makeup, it smells very similar and the texture is a little bit thicker but it does the same thing by turning into a cleansing milk once it hits contact with water only this is nspa one is purse friendly so you're saving money.  I reckon if I was trying this product blind folded I would honestly think it was a high end brand and was in the £20-£30 price range.

I don't usually rave about many cleansers but this is certainly in my top 5.  I'm definitely gunna go out to Asda and buy another tube so I can keep it at my boyfriends house when I want to remove my makeup, makeup wipes are a no-go for me so this will be perfect for travelling or staying over at someones house.

You can buy nspa products here and this cleansing gel is only £6.00 for a 125ml tube or you can get 3 nspa products for £10.00.. how good is that deal?!  You should pick it up next time you're in Asda and maybe grab a few more of their products to try as they're so affordable.  They have a full range of skincare, haircare, bath products and accessories so you're bound to find something.

Have you tried nspa products before?

Feel so proud of myself completing the first week of Ripped in 30 with Jillian Michaels
Check out my post for week 1 here

Day 1:  Today is Monday the start of level 2 with Jillian but I didn't feel too good, I had barely any energy so I didn't bother starting it today but you'll be pleased to know that I did get off my backside and went to Bodypump class.  I knew that if I'd go along to Bodypump I'd do the full class no problem whereas if I was gunna just do Jillian Michaels DVD with barely any energy I'd just slack, I'd much rather do something than nothing at all.

Day 2:  So today is the day... my first attempt at level 2 OH MY GOD it was much harder than level 1 and I was sweating like crazy. I also did a Bodypump class yet again (addicted much?) so I got plenty of weight training in as well as this DVD.  I couldn't do many of the advanced moves on level 2 but will try harder tomorrow...

Day 3:  Happy hump day! Yes it's Wednesday today and I've had a stressful day... my Macbook air decided to die on me so sent it to Apple for repair.  I also did some food shopping today and got tonnes of healthy stuff including some almond milk to try.  I did day 2 of Jillians level 2 and tried my best to do the advanced moves but still didn't manage them so hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Day 4:  Today I was extremely healthy and felt motivated... I had a banana protein shake for breakfast, a chicken sandwich (wholemeal bread) from M&S for lunch then another protein shake for dinner with a banana as a snack.  I done Bodypump this morning and worked out with Jillian in the evening, when doing my workout with Jillian there was one point where I had sweat dripping off my nose and hearing Jillian in the background telling me to push and keep it up was making me push harder and I thought to myself 'I'm doing this for myself and only I can put the effort in' Jillian is a huge inspiration and she really makes you work like you've never worked out before.

Day 5:  Friday is usually the night I stay over at my boyfriends, I made sure I did my workout with Jillian before going to his.  I also did some ab work, I had two protein shakes today and felt a 'buzz' it was weird!  It calmed down when I had my dinner though.

Day 6: The final level 2 workout is finally here!  I did it and felt much stronger as I could push myself to do the advanced moves for each circuit, felt very proud of myself and had a protein shake straight after to 'repair' my muscles after a tough workout.

Day 7:  Rest day... excited to start level 3, I reckon it will be extremely tough but I can't slack because I'm already half way through the challenge.  BRING IT ON!

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen me tweet about a spending ban... I've given myself a 2 week spending ban because I've bought so much recently and it's only fair to give my bank balance a rest so for the next two weeks I can't buy ANYTHING at all (except petrol for my car) and I'm banning myself from buying food such as takeaways and McDonalds.  If I succeed in this little challenge then I'll treat myself to something as a reward, I'd really like some new boots for the colder season so I think those will be my little treat.

I have ordered some new bits online including REN skincare, some nail polishes and today I received my MAC goodies which you can see below...
As a true MAC lover and having not bought from MAC for a good few month, I thought I'd order a couple of things to keep my addiction strong.  When I was in Vegas this summer I spotted the most gorgeous lipstick in the MAC store but they were out of stock, the shade was Up The Amp and as soon as I saw it was in stock online I quickly added it to my basket.  The colour is a a vivd lavender violet shade and the formula is an amplified creme so it's very pigmented, I know I'll get a lot of use out of this shade especially in the autumn/winter season.  Seeing the new Retro Matte collection I spotted the matching lipliner for my new lipstick in the shade Fashion Boost so threw that in the basket too.

Heres a picture of me wearing Up The Amp lipstick and Fashion Boost lipliner... I'm totally in love with this combo!
I didn't hit the £30.00 spend to qualify for free delivery so I threw in the travel size version of Fix+ spray.  This little beauty will be perfect for keeping in my handbag to touch up my makeup during the day and refresh my skin.

My next MAC haul will be (hopefully) when the RIRI collection comes out, I only managed to grab Riri Woo last time but I've already got my list ready for this collection.

Have you tried Up The Amp?

This is possibly my fourth or fifth set of clip-in hair extensions from the brand Lush, I found this brand on E-bay roughly around 2 years ago when I was after some decent quality extensions but was a little bit strapped for cash at the time.  I spotted these as they seemed popular and cost less than £40.00 for a full head of clip-ins so I purchased them and I'm so glad I did because I've never went back to any other clip-in extension brand since!  I find these to be one of the cheapest on the market and the quality of the hair is excellent (100% remy human), if you're unsure on what shade to buy they offer a free colour match service - all you need to do is take a photo of your hair colour and send them the picture and they will get back to you within 24 hours to tell you which shade would be the perfect match.

I've tried different lengths, shades and even different thickness of extensions from Lush, their Deluxe double weft full head extensions are really thick and I found myself only wearing half of them as they were so thick, I even dyed them and they stayed soft for months on end but I didn't need the thickness so I decided to go back to the normal full-head set which cost me a reasonable £39.99 for 20" on their E-bay store (you get 100grams of hair with the 20inch set).

SET INCLUDES:1 x 8" wide weft (4 clips attached)
2 x 6" wide weft (3 clips attached)
2 x 4" wide weft (2 clips attached)
1 x 3" wide weft (2 clips attached)
2 x 2" wide weft (1 clip attached)

As I've recently dyed my hair dark brown I opted for shade #2 Dark Brown which is a perfect match for me, with these extensions the colours are multi-tonal which I think is great because they match your actual hair colour much nicer rather than a set of extensions that are just all one block colour.  I can see a mix of dark brown, caramel and light brown in this set so I reckon if my hair was a shade lighter or a shade darker this set would still be a perfect match as it would still all blend in together.

Lush offer lengths from 12inches all the way to 26inches but I decided to go for 20inches as I find this to be the most natural looking for me whilst still being long in length.  I have previously bought 22 and 24inches from Lush but found them to be too long and unnatural looking, I think these lengths would be perfect for those who are much taller as I'm quite short.

You can wash, dye, straighten, curl these extensions and they last a really long time if looked after carefully.  I tend to only wash them once a month and make sure I condition them well then apply some Moroccanoil treatment to keep them frizz free and healthy looking.

The clips are decent too, they have a rubber band so they grip to your hair with ease and won't slide down.  I still like to backcomb my roots for extra grip and some volume.

TIP:  hang your extensions on a trouser coat hanger to keep them in tip top condition and stop them from tangling.

Heres a picture of me with my natural hair before putting in the clip-ins...

... and heres the finished result, I curled them slightly with some large curling tongs and backcombed to make the extensions blend in with my natural hair more

I'm really pleased with the quality and price of these extensions, I don't wear extensions everyday but they are a god send for nights out and special occasions to create glamorous, long, thick hair

You can purchase Lush extensions from the official Lush E-bay store here or from the Lush website here.

Have you tried Lush hair extensions?  Whats your fave extension brand for clip-ins?

I'm sure most of you have heard of Jillian Michaels, if not she's a fabulous personal trainer and made an appearance on The Biggest Loser helping people lose weight and has over 15 workout DVD's available to buy.  I think Jillian is a huge inspiration and I love her attitude, she really motivates you to keep going and push harder in her workouts.  I own 6 of her DVDS but this is the second one I've tried, firstly I tried her 30 Day Shred which is her most popular workout but I quickly got bored of it.  I purchased Ripped in 30 from Amazon and have set myself a challenge to complete the full 30 days!  I also go to the gym and do classes such as Bodypump and Spinning so this DVD won't be the only exercise I'll be doing throughout the challenge.

For this workout you will need some light weights and some heavier ones, I use 2kg and 4kg for reference.  Make sure you have a towel close by too because you WILL sweat like mad doing these workouts but that's a good thing right?  Jillian recommends you do this DVD 5-6 times a week and you start off with level 1 for the first week then level 2 for the second week etc.  There's also a beginners and an advanced version of each move so don't feel ashamed to do the beginners until you get stronger because nobody can go straight to advanced unless your really fit, you can work your way up and you'll notice how stronger you get each week.  It's the same as the 30 Day Shred doing a few circuits of 3 minutes strength training, 2 minutes of cardio then 1 minute of abs so it goes really quickly as you're constantly moving but doing different circuits working on different parts of the body.

My goal is to get rid of that awful 'armpit fat' and lose inches on my waist and upper thighs.  I'm not following a strict diet during this challenge but I'll certainly be eating healthier, eating fresh foods, snacking on fruit and drinking more water.  I've eliminated alcohol too as it contains too many calories and slows down your weight loss, no vodka or wine for me!  I'll write daily throughout my challenge for the full 30 days and do a full review at the end.  So lets begin...

Day 1:  So it's Monday and the first day of the challenge, I've already done a Bodypump class at the gym today but I was fully determined to start this.  I found it better than the 30 Day Shred and I was sweating like crazy all the way through even though I couldn't do all of the advanced moves I gave it a shot and just gave it my all, I did have to pause a couple of times but made sure I kept on going.  It was over within 25 minutes and it just flew by, I felt really good after doing it so I had a nice shower and relaxed in bed.  I also took my measurements (in inches) so I can compare once I've completed the challenge to see how much of a difference it's made to my body.

Day 2:  I was expecting to wake up in pain but I wasn't that bad, my arms ached but I think that's down to Bodypump class.  I worked harder on this day and could use my heavier weights for most of the moves and I managed to do the advanced version of each workout unlike yesterday (except push ups of course, those are killer!) I felt really good again after completing day two and had a shower and chilled out for the rest of the evening.

Day 3:  Today I could REALLY feel some pain especially in my thighs, butt and shoulders so I used this day as one of my rest days but I did a Bodypump class in the evening and done some sit ups whilst watching Keeping up with the Kardashians so I don't count this as a proper rest day just a rest from the DVD.

Day 4:  This morning I did another Bodypump class (can you tell this is my fave?) then went home straight back to Jillian and completed another workout feeling great!  I can feel some pain in my butt and my upper arms today but it's not a big deal.  I honestly do find this DVD much better than the 30 Day Shred and can feel it working after only the first few days.

Day 5:  I used this day as my second rest day as I stayed at my boyfriends and lazed about all day (also watched the Big Brother final I'm so glad Charlotte won!)  I've used up my two rest day allowance so that means I must do the DVD tomorrow and Sunday.

Day 6:  Almost there!  Did another round with Jillian again today and was sweating like crazy, I love how it makes me feel like I've done an hours gym session in under 30 minutes.  My body must be getting used to this now as I'm not feeling much pain like the previous days.

Day 7:  The last day of level 1 is here... Sunday is usually my 'lazy' day chilling in my pyjamas and eating a big sunday dinner but I don't have any more rest days for this week as I've already used up the 2 day allowance so I got up off my butt and did my final level 1 with Jillian.  I felt amazing for completing my first week doing this challenge as I usually only stick to these type of things for a few days and feel crap for not pushing myself.  I'm totally ready for level 2 tomorrow and will do a whole new post for week 2...

I randomly picked this up in Boots as it's a brand new product and was on offer for £19.96.  I never usually pick up things randomly without knowing if they're actually good or without reading reviews online beforehand so I'm not entirely sure why I picked this up and wish I didn't even bother...

It's basically a 5 day programme thats meant to make your teeth up to 8 shades whiter and includes 10 prefilled ready-to-use trays which have the whitening gel already in them (as seen below)

You apply a tray to your top teeth and a tray on your bottom teeth and leave them to work their 'magic' for 20 minutes.  The gel will need to be moved around a little bit before putting them in your mouth as there was more gel on one side than the other (must have been the way they were stored when packaged) so I used something small like the end of my tweezers to distribute the gel evenly across the tray.

I used the trays everyday for the 5 recommended days and my teeth didn't really go '8 shades whiter' as they claim, I'd say around 1-2 shades whiter.

I'll be sticking to my trusty Crest White Strips from now on as they work out cheaper and work amazingly well.  I totally regret wasting money on this product and wouldn't recommend to anyone as in my opinion it's like something you'd find in the pound shop!  Disappointed with Boots for putting this on their shelves BIG THUMBS DOWN!

From L-R: 140 Peachy Keen, 130 Sheer Me Now and 540 Frutti Petutie

I've used this before so I know it works and I want to grow my nails as they are totally ruined and look awful from wearing gel nails over the summer.  I'll do a review on this as it's a really good product and I'll also take pictures to show the difference it makes

I've never tried this one but it has really good reviews and it sounds like it will be great to apply as a base coat under nail polish

In the shades 334 Blueberry and 333 Guava

These were £1.99 from Fragrance Direct and these were the only two shades left:  The pink one is 'We're in it together' and the orange 'fear & desire'

Some glue-ons from Primark £1.00 each!  The first ones are pointy and I love painting over them so they look like they've been done in a salon, the middle ones have silver glitter on them which will be nice for Christmas time and the last ones are a nude colour.

I got the moisturising lotions in deep and light, they are my fave gradual tanners and always pick up a few when they're on offer in Boots.

This was on offer in Boots for around £5.00, I've used it twice now and its pretty good as it doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin and dries instantly.  I picked the lighter shade and it leaves a nice bit of colour to the face without being too orange/dark

This is my second one as I find these really handy and great for travelling, I will be doing a review on this product very soon so keep an eye out :)

After hearing so many raves about this in the blogging world recently I decided to pick it up in Boots as it's not even that expensive.  I've used it a few times and it's really helped my skin and cleared up the blemishes which have popped up out of nowhere.  Will also do a review on this to show how it's helped my skin (before & after pictures)

This has also been raved about and is perfect for those of us who have oily/blemished skin.  You use this after cleansing like a toner and it gently exfoliates and clears your pores giving a slight tingle sensation.  I'm really liking this and glad I picked it up, totally loving this brand of skincare I don't know why I didn't try it sooner!

I picked these up from Home Bargains and made sure I picked about 5 packs of each as these are fab.  The strip lashes were 99p and the individual lashes were £1.49

This was on offer in boots for £19.99 so thought I'd give it a try, it's a 5 day programme and I'm on day 3 so will review this when I'm finished trying it

Primark denim high-waisted hot pants £12.00

Primark gloves with sequin bow £4.00 and hat £3.00

Primark blue/turquoise trousers £9.00

Primark statement necklace £5.00 (colours to match the trousers above)

Nike air max £95.00 (for the gym and when I start running outside)

My August faves, check them out below...

The original Armani Diamonds is also a firm favourite of mine but when I gave this a sniff in Boots I couldn't resist picking it up.  It's a very light scent which I can describe as a woody, flowery, fruity scent which is perfect for the hot summer days as it's not heavy and smells refreshing.  It's extremely girly and I love that it's pink!  This was £35.00 for 50ml which is pretty good so this will last me a while.

I've had my eye on this for years since smelling it at a MAC counter years back and when I was in Vegas I stopped by the MAC store and just thought it was time to finally be the proud owner of it.  This is one of them 'perfect for summer' scents (think Escada perfumes) and it reminds me of a really old United Colors Of Benetton perfume I used to wear as a young teen.  It's an oriental scent with a wood and fruity feel, I've had a few compliments from people whenever I've been wearing this which is a great sign... the scent lasts for hours so you don't need to spray loads and this 20ml size will probably last me until Christmas time then I'll purchase the 50ml size no questions asked!

The best hair spray EVER, this works amazingly well when I have my hair in curls or styled as it just keeps it in place for hours and doesn't make it feel hard and sticky.  I've purchased three of these because they're currently on offer in Boots for £2.71 and they're normally £4.00 so I make sure to grab these whenever I see them on offer.  It also has a kind of mango/fruity scent which is unique and makes hair smell fresh.

I've purchased this product around four times now and it's really helped my hair grow and stop split ends from forming.  It's basically a hair growth treatment to use after you shampoo and before you condition, I use this all over my hair massaging it into the roots after shampooing (as this is where the hair grows from duhh!) then apply my usual conditioner at the ends of my hair, leave for around 5-10 minutes then rinse.  The best time to buy these is when they are 3 for 2 in Boots, this product is probably the one that sell out the fastest in the Lee Stafford range which just goes to show you how good it is.  The reviews on the Boots website are really informative if you're not sure you want to buy this and plenty of people have rated it a 5 star product.

My third purchase of this product but finally got the large size, you can see my full review here

I'm not really a one for trying out the latest deodorant, usually just buy whats on offer but after hearing some good things about this I decided to give it a go myself.  I normally go for spray-on deodorants rather than roll ons so this is something completely different to what I've ever used, you twist it up from the bottom and it comes out of the holes ready for you to use.  My armpits have never been so dry and they are really soft!  The only downfall of this product is that it's quite expensive at around £5.00 a pop your bank balance won't be pleased but you get what you pay for in my opinion, I feel like I've gone off spray-on deodorants and have fully converted to these types purely because I know they work for me and keep my armpits soft and dry which is what's needed in this humid weather.  Big thumbs up from me!

Well this has just been the perfect go-to moisturiser when I've been in a rush or just wanted to quickly moisturise without spending 10 minutes rubbing in a lotion and feeling greasy.  You just spray all over your body and slightly rub in then you can put your clothes on straight away as it doesn't leave you feeling greasy.  The scent is a very rich cocoa (some people may find this very strong), theres two other types which both smell nice too but this one was my fave out of the three.  At £4.99 a pop it's not the cheapest moisturiser on the market but you don't need to apply loads so it will last quite a while.  I only use this when I'm in a rush or need a quick refresher to perk me up.. I don't use it daily but it's absolutely perfect for on the go and for speedy application.

I bought this at Sephora in Vegas this summer as I was looking for my perfect bronzer.  I tested Laguna and realised it was quite light and I love wearing fake tan so I chose Casino which is slightly darker and I don't think I'll ever stop using this!!!!  OMG this is the perfect bronzer for me, yes it's expensive but I've tried tonnes of bronzers and nothing compares to this little gem.  The perfect contouring and bronzing product which will last me forever as you only need a tiny amount on your brush.  It's VERY pigmented so you need to apply this with a light hand but it blends into the skin perfectly and doesn't look muddy or orange.

This is my second tube of this mascara and I'm never usually one to repurchase mascara as I find them all to be pretty similar.  The reason I repurchased this particular one is due to the fact it lengthens my lashes, curls them and doesn't go clumpy.  I even got a few compliments on this which I've never had when wearing a mascara, someone even thought I had lash extensions on!  This and Lancome Hypnose are the only mascaras that I've sworn by and would repurchase.

Now I will be doing a full review with pictures for this foundation very soon, I've had it for around three weeks and it's absolutely perfect when you're in a rush and don't have time to spend ages doing makeup.  You just apply to the face then quickly blend it in with fingers or a brush and your good to go.  It has a 'gel core' which I think is what makes it blend into the skin so easy but the only con is that I can't see it lasting very long as you don't get too much product in the tube.

After hearing so much about this new product over the past few months I thought I best pick one up to see what all the fuss is about.  I chose 'pink punch' which has a slight pink tint on the lips but this one doesn't contain SPF which is a shame, theres three shades with the SPF20 and three without so if you're looking for some protection for your lips then check the packaging before buying as I thought the SPF was in all of them.  That means I now have to go and get another one that contains SPF so I can protect my lips (any excuse!) these are available in Boots and Superdrug for £2.99 and Boots are currently doing a 3 for 2 offer on Maybelline.

The packaging is very cheap looking but simple, I love the bright pink colour with the yellow text.  It's certainly doesn't have that luxurious look about it but for the price you can't exactly complain about how it's presented.

In the tube it looks like a very opaque neon pink (think MACs Candy Yum Yum lipstick) but once applied to the lips it's really sheer, leaving a slight pink tint to the lips.  If you're not a fan of lipsticks or feel too scared to apply colour then this is the product for you as it's not too in your face and gives you just a hint of pink.

It claims to moisturise the lips for up to 8 hours and visibly renews lips within 4 weeks of usage.  I've used this a couple of times and love the texture of it, it makes my lips feel silky smooth and the slight tint of colour is great for those barely there makeup days to inject some colour into the face.  I wouldn't say it stays on for the full 8 hours but it lasts longer than some other lip balms i've tried in the past, I'll have to report back to you whether it renews my lips or not after 4 weeks although i'm not getting my hopes up!

This is a very affordable product and is great for any age, i'm sure the clear coloured ones would be great for the boys too.  I double checked about the SPF and realised that in the USA all of them have the SPF20 but only three of them do in the UK so i'm not entirely sure why that is?  The Boots website tells you which ones contain the SPF and which ones don't which is helpful.

Have you tried Baby Lips? which one is your fave?

I'm one of those people who gets bored of having the same hair colour after a period of time.  I used to be blonde and wouldn't dream of changing to any other colour until I was 19 and went brunette and loved it.  Ever since then I have been many shades of dark, highlighted, caramel shades and even a plum/red colour.  I was recently a plum/red colour which looked nice and made my blue eyes pop but the colour ran everytime I washed my hair and made my roots look awful when my hair grew.  I decided to go a dark brown and saw this new permanent hair dye in Boots which is like a hair mask but is actually a hair dye, I bought two so I can dye my hair extensions with one of them and this new product was reasonably priced at £4.50.

I chose the shade 400 Dark Brown as you can see below

As you can see by the instructions, it's very simply and easy to apply.  If you have very thick/long hair I suggest you use two boxes as I don't feel one box would be enough for a full head.

This is what you get in each box:  The colour mask (developer), colour cream in the colour you chose, conditioning hair mask sachet, gloves and instructions.

I applied the mask and left it on for 40-45 mins (I always leave it on longer than recommended) then rinsed and conditioned.

This is the outcome and i'm very happy with my new colour :) ...
