MY SKINCARE ROUTINE

Well it's September tomorrow, where the hell has 2013 gone?! This year has flew soooo quick, so much has happened, I've learnt quite a lot about myself this year and i'm so excited for Christmas.  Totally looking forward to the colder months as this heat has been almost unbearable.  I'm ready to pull out my autumn/winter wardrobe and cool down!

Over the past 8 years or so I have used tonnes of skincare items and tried loads of different brand names from high end to cheap and cheerful... These are the products what I've been using for a while now and trust even though I have still yet to find my perfect skincare routine, these products work wonders for me...

PRODUCTS I USE ON A DAILY BASIS

LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR
This is a purifying foaming gel cleanser made specially for oily/sensitive skin and is soap free.  I have been using this for the past 5-6 weeks now and it has helped my skin look more clear and feel really soft.  I paid around £12 for this in Boots and decided to treat myself after reading the good reviews, I have never tried this brand before and heard nothing but good things from other beauty bloggers and in magazines etc. so thought i'd see what the fuss was about.
I use this every morning and evening making sure I use a pea sized amount and mix it with warm water, lather it up and cleanse my skin with it.  I then rinse it off with warm water then do a final rinse with cold water.  My skin feels very clean and fresh after every use and the fact you only need a small amount is a bonus because this 200ml tube will last months!  If you have oily, sensitive skin like myself then this would be great for you, it's also good at eliminating excess sebum (oiliness).

BIODERMA SENSIBIO
One of the biggest hypes on the beauty blogging scene over the past year has to be this product... At first it was only available to buy in France then it popped up on Ebay and now you can buy it on plenty of other websites and in some UK stores.  I paid around £7 for this on Ebay and this is the 250ml size.  This is an absolute god send for removing heavy makeup including eye makeup, you just put a small amount on some cotton wool and remove your makeup with it and your skin is clean as a whistle.

LA ROCHE-POSAY SEROZINC
I first heard about this spray toner from Vivianna Does Makeup and the fact it has zinc in it which is perfect for oily, blemish prone skin I decided to purchase it.  I saw this on Farmaline which is a French website and thought I'd purchase two as the delivery is very expensive.  Serozinc is £8.98 and the delivery cost is £5.95 so it only made sense to order more than one.  They don't have serozinc in Boots just yet but hopefully they will stock it soon as it's such a good product.  All you do is spray it on your skin or you can spray it onto a cotton ball and wipe it over your skin (I prefer to just spray straight onto the face) after cleansing and you can even spray it on top of your makeup to stop any oil.

SIMPLE HYDRATING LIGHT MOISTURISER
I've tried sooo many moisturisers and I always seem to come back to this one as I know I can trust it with my skin and it won't break me out.  It's perfect for the most sensitive skin as it has no harsh chemicals or perfume in it.  You can get this in most stores like Boots, Superdrug and even supermarkets for around £3-£4 so it won't break the bank.

CLEAN & CLEAR FAST ACTION SPOT TREATMENT GEL
I'm onto my second tube of this and ready for my third, you apply this to any blemishes/spots and can instantly feel a 'burning' sensation and I can't rave enough about how much this works and how quick it reduces/gets rid of spots.  This bad boy needs to be in every girls (and boys) skincare routine if you're prone to spots and blemishes.  Not sure how this is on acne prone skin but it's worth a try!

OTHER SKIN PRODUCTS I USE OFTEN

SOAP & GLORY THE FAB PORE FACIAL PEEL
This little pot is a face mask with small beads in and is great for reducing pore size.  I only use this once a month or so as it's kind of like a treat for the skin and works better when you use it occasionally.  You can either apply it for 5 mins for a quick refresher or leave it on for 15 mins for a mini facial.  Massage it in a circular motion and wait until the green beads dissolve, I mainly keep it on for the full 15 mins as I don't use it weekly as suggested.

CLAY FACE MASKS
Any brand clay face masks are amazing and I'm currently using the Superdrug ones and my skin feels so refreshed and cleansed everytime I use one.  I only use half of a sachet and keep the other half for next time and mainly use these 1-2 times per week to keep skin looking tip top and get rid of excess oil and dirt.

ST IVES BLEMISH FIGHTING APRICOT SCRUB
I've been using this product for years now and can't seem find a scrub that works as well as this and for such a great price you can't go wrong at all.  Scrubs away dead skin cells, removes blackheads and makes skin feel as soft as a baby's bum.  You can buy this in most stores and in supermarkets for around £3-£4, bargain!

SUDOCREM
As well as the Clean&Clear spot treatment gel, this wonder product is perfect for spots.  We all have them days when our skin gets a couple of spots or blemishes, well if you apply sudocrem to the problem area it helps reduce the redness and gets rid of bacteria to stop the spots/blemishes from getting worse.  You can also use this as a face mask but it's not recommended to use all the time as it can clog pores.  I use this as a mask 1-2 x per month and on really bad spots when they decide to make an appearance.

SIMPLE SOOTHING EYE BALM
I don't use an eye cream everyday as I forget but this is fab for days when my eyes are feeling dry or when i'm hungover and need to banish those nasty bags!  It reduces puffiness and is perfect for even sensitive eyes and doesn't cost a bomb.  I'm yet to find my perfect eye cream but this works well.
